These help me tremendously with oncoming cars' headlights, wouldn't venture out without them. And at dark/early morning when it's been raining, helps a lot too, I can see the lines on the roads much better and use them in town even with streetlights. I've even used them on overcast days where the glare from rain/wet roads made the lines difficult to see. I'm planning to get me a 2nd pair to keep in my other car, and maybe give each of my sons a pair...just to have.
